Cassia Billington - Piano/Keyboards, Cello, beginner Violin

Cassia Billington is a dynamic, young teacher with the ability to teach students both young and old. Whether for Conservatory grading or for personal enjoyment, Cassia's teaching methods produce great results. Her credentials include Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 8 Piano, Grade 7 Theory, earned 1st Place at the Brantford Kiwanis Festival, Grade 11 Keyboard Course Honours from The Virtual Learning Centre and is currently a cellist in the Little Strings Senior Orchestra. Cassia tries to ensure that every student achieves their goals in a fun, yet professional environment!



Bob Boisclair - Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass

With over 40 years of playing experience, Bob Boisclair is a gifted musician and teacher. Bob has played in many bands and has much touring and live experience to his credit. He has also recorded with some of Canada's most gifted singer-songwriters. Bob has the ability to play almost any style of music with a fluidity and ease that makes you wonder "how'd he do that?". Unlike some naturally gifted guitarists, Bob can teach what he knows in a way that is fun and easy to understand.

Josh Cavan - Piano, Keyboards, Vocals, Guitar, Ukulele

Josh is a young teacher with knowledge and experience well beyond his age! With an Honours Bachelor of Music Degree from Humber College and much time in various music projects, Josh is a great musical resource for students of any age or level. He is a member of several Toronto based bands with musical styles ranging from pop, rock and blues to gypsy jazz and touring throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Northern US. In addition to playing a wide variety of instruments, Josh also is well versed in writing and arranging songs as well as recording and mixing. Students will appreciate the time and effort Josh puts into making sure learning music is a fun, exciting and rewarding experience.


Susan Drayson - Vocal/Singing, Piano

Susan comes to us with a wealth of experience, energy and enthusiasm. She has over 23 years of teaching experience, a Masters of Music Education(Kodaly Studies), Kodaly Certification Levels 1,2 & 3, Bachelor of Education and Honours Bachelor of Music. In addition, she has reached RCM Grade 9 in Piano and RCM Grade 3 in Harmony. Susan's dedication to music is contagious and her students soon find themselves learning quickly, easily and with much fun!

Karen D'Agostino - Vocal/Singing, Piano, Flute

Karen started music at an early age and has made it a part of her life ever since. She has played a wide variety of instruments but has focussed on Piano, Flute and Vocals. Karen has her ARCT (highest RCM certification) in vocal, and RCM Grade 10 in piano and RCM Grade 10 in flute. Along with her music education, Karen has much live and studio experience including being the lead singer for a hard rock band. She is experienced in teaching a wide range of vocal styles from Barbershop, Pop, Rock & Heavy Rock vocals to Classical. She also teaches special needs students (Austism, ADHD, etc.) Karen's relaxed teaching style, patience and desire to help others enjoy and succeed in music makes her a wonderful teacher for anyone looking to further themselves in their musical journey.

Justin Kotewicz - Vocal/Singing, Trumpet, Trombone, Ukulele, Drums, Guitar, Beginner Saxophone

Justin is a talented, energetic, dedicated teacher looking to get the best out of his students. His patient and fun demeanor help students of any age and any level achieve their goals. Justin's experience and education include lead singer, guitarist and trumpet in The False Endings Funk Band, vocals/trumpet in a jazz quartet, President of Brock University jazz band, trumpet/vocal in Brock University Wind Ensemble and is currently pursuing his BA in Music at Brock University. Justin's passion for music is infectious and his students will enjoy learning and benefit from his enthusiasm!

John Mulholland - Drums and Percussion

John is a wealth of percussion talent and a natural teacher. With over 35 years of playing in everything from rock bands to symphony orchestras, John can teach any style of drumming and percussion. John's students benefit from his 30 plus years of teaching in the public school system. We are very happy to have John here to teach not only drums but djembe, congas, bongos, timpani and all things percussion!


Kevin Murphy - Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass, Ukulele, Beginner Mandolin, Beginner Trumpet

Kevin is a gifted musician with a flair for teaching. His musical styles encompass everything from jazz to rock to metal. Kevin has his Bachelors Degree in Music from MacMaster University, Bachelors Degree in Education from Western University, has completed the Mohawk College Jazz Program and has also completed Teacher's College. He is a supply music teacher for the Grand Erie District Schoolboard as well as the Hamilton Wentworth District Schoolboard where he teaches guitar and concert band classes. He has also has live performance experience. Kevin's enthusiasm, talent and ability to relate to students of all ages and abilities, including special needs, makes him a wonderful teacher.


Nick Urech - Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass, Harmonica, Ukulele

Nick is goldmine of musical talent and knowledge! A career guitar player, who has played with some of music's finest players. He was a student of the Berkeley College of Music Theory Course. He grew up in the Hamilton, Ontario music environment before heading to New York's incredible Music Scene during the 1960's/70's. This experience shows as Nick has a fluidity and poise on the fretboard that is fantastic. Nick has the ability to relate his vast knowledge to others- young or old- making him a great teacher.


Mikela Witjes- Violin & beginner Piano

Mikela is an energetic and flexible teacher who is comfortable teaching all ages and levels of students. Her emphasis on tailoring lessons to each student ensures the best instruction and students learn at their own pace. Mikela's education includes Masters Music (Literature and Performance), Western University (2015), full scholarship, BA (Honours Performance – Violin), Gold Medalist, Minor in French, Western University (2013), ARCT (Practical) – Violin, RCM Grade 8 – Piano. Her vast musical experience includes Musicians of Orchestra London (2015-present), Orchestra London (2012-2015), Kingston Symphony Orchestra (2008–2009), Drayton Entertainment (2014-present), Violinist for productions of South Pacific, Anne of Green Gables. Mikela has also been teaching privately and professionally since 2008 as well as Assistant teaching in Western University.

Helen Thompson - Sheduler/Administrator

Helen is an integral part of The Studios at Erie Music team! Her dedication and organizational abilities help keep the "train on the tracks" and make both the student's and teacher's lives easier. As the sheduler and co-ordinator, she works with each student, new or returning, to find the right day, time and teacher for their lessons. But it's more than just scheduling, she takes the time to get to know each student and their goals and needs and does it all with a great attitude and smile.
